This is the best American BBQ in Brisbane. Love the atmosphere — relaxed, no-fuss, and easy to settle into — plus a solid choice of drinks that actually pair well with smoked meat. Portions are generous for what you pay. A proper BBQ platter should have smoky, juicy meat with a good sauce to go with it, and this one mostly delivers. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft inside, there was a good pile of crispy chips, the coleslaw had less mayo and the right hit of vinegar, and the pickles were on point. Really enjoyed the meal. I ordered the short ribs — easily the best thing on the plate and a must-try. Pulled pork was great too. The only letdown was the brisket; it was a little dry. Would still come back for the ribs alone.

This was our first time dinning at Frankie's and it was very special. The waiters were really kind and attentive, we were looked after from the very start to the end. The gentleman who seemed to be the manager was very attentive and kind. We were lucky to see the fire works as well. A very beautiful experience ❤️
